While social media is about engagement, some of your personal friends and family members may not want to share information with your Real Estate community. This keeps your personal life private, and I know for me, this is a very important factor. You can also control the privacy settings on your personal page and optimize publicity for your Business Page.
In addition, Facebook caps the amount of friends you can have on your personal profile page at 5,000, while your Business Page can have an infinite number of friends. As a business, you can have unlimited “friends”, so as your business and engagement grows, so does your Business Page.
You should carefully consider every friend request on your Facebook account, because friend requests are for your personal account. You do not have to “accept” the people who like your Business Page.
